Being Thankful

By the mercy of the Lord, I was given the opportunity to teach the children.
As I teach the children, the Lord is teaching me at the same time. It's my desire that the children will know that there's a True Living Powerful God and that He loves them very much.
Though the Lord reveals to me several things, I'd like to share with you what the Lord revealed to me on November 11.
I was a substitute teacher on Sunday School for children. I usually start the class with the memory verse. Their memory verses is found in 1 Samuel 12:24. "Be sure to fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with ALL your heart, consider what great things he has done for you." And then I asked the children, "Are we going to serve the Lord with half of our hearts or all of our hearts?" And they answered: "All."
In another group of children in the Junior church, their story is found in Mark 12: 41-44. It was about the poor widow who gave the two copper coins as her offering and these were ALL she has. And Jesus even commented that she's the one who has put in much more than all the rich people, because she gave everything she had -- ALL she had to live on.
The word ALL reminded of the verses that are found in the Old and New Testament. These verses say the same thing. “Love the LORD with ALL your heart, with ALL your mind, and with ALL your strength."
It seems the Lord is telling me that I want the all of you -- all of your heart, your mind, and your all.
The Lord said, "Apart from me you can do nothing."
But with the surpassing greatness of His power (Ephesians 1:19), we all can do it.
I'm thankful to the Lord for Iva. She organized the Women's Bible Study. I always told her that it helps me walk close with the Lord.
One of the verses that I encountered while I was doing my homework is in John 15:21. Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these?" I broke to tears when I read this verse and I asked the Lord, "Is there anything in my life that I love more than you?"
One of them is my prayer discipline. I love to sleep. And I need to sleep less daily for an hour to commune with the Almighty living God. It is so good to commune with Him.
There was a time when I pray to the Lord to be pure and holy. During my prayer, the Lord spoke to me. And He said, "Do you know why I want you to be pure, why I want you to be holy? Because I, the Lord your God is holy and pure. And I reside in your body and your body is a temple of Me. “It’s an honor and a privilege to commune with the True Living Powerful God.
Let's spend time with the Lord even half an hour or more daily. It's so good.
I'll end up my testimony with the following verses which are found in Colossians 3:1-4. "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life appears, then you will appear with him in glory."
