JYAF Report

JYAF

JYAF currently consists mainly of English-speaking College students and single professionals.

During Bible study, the college group is currently studying the book of Revelations with Pastor John, and the Single Professionals are studying “Angels and Demons” with Dr. Tony Evans on an audio series. We are finishing the book “Experiencing God” during training meetings, which is usually facilitated by one of our members.

The year has just begun, and already, we have had a few great events. In January, we had our annual JYAF barbecue at Crandon Park. It was a great

time of fellowship and eating (what JYAF does best).

Our community service event for February was Habitat for Humanity. Ten energetic, ambitious JYAF members woke up at the crack of dawn to head down to Homestead where we spent a day at the Habitat for Humanity site to help build houses for the homeless. The men hammered away on a roof, and the women did not hesitate to get their hands on an electric saw. After a long, tiring day of service, some members are still eager to go back again. God was watching over us, allowing the rain to fall only moments before we left the site.

May God continue to grow our fellowship in number, and more importantly, spiritually. We welcome anyone interested in fellowshipping, growing, and serving with us.
